Our mini holiday for yr 2012 is Athens!! We will be tagging along on his same flight..
It will be a 8 days flight but actual stay at Athens wld be 5 nights...
We left on 4 may night and will go for a 11 hrs flight to Athens! Was actually quite apprehensive if kiddos will enjoy the trip as we r not going for any amusement parks... But looking at our few days here, they sure did enjoy themselves!
Athens day 1: as we were kinda zombified aft the flight, we just took dinner at the city area
Athens day 2: we went by foot to acropolis!! Kiddos walked all the way up to the peak !! They enjoyed the walking n Isaiah loved taking pics for hubs n muah!!
Athens day 3: we booked a day tour of 3 islands: hydra, porys and aeginr... It took us a whole day to visit those 3 island !! But it was really scenic n kiddos love being on the ship ! It was their first time on a cruise ship.. We even had our lunch on board the ship...
Athens day 4: morning we went to the market... Saw meat section... First time seeing up close n personal a lamb's head cum the eyeball!!! Oh n rabbit meat!! The whole body was intact and hung up... Ewwwwww
Aft we went to city for some shopping!!!
